Winter In London – Season IPA

During our second winter in England, I spent a day crisscrossing London with my best friend, Jo. The sky was a wash of cerulean, dotted with occasional, moody clouds over the Thames. We wandered through the National Gallery before she led me to Liberty London. The streets were filled with cheerful holiday shoppers. The iconic exterior glowed from within, revealing an interior that glittered—twinkle lights adorned every corner, and a giant hot air balloon dominated the central gallery. Jo, a seasoned Londoner, guided me up stairwells and along balconies that circled the balloon. From there, we could see its basket carrying whimsical cut-out creatures: an owl, a pelican, and a lion, all holding gifts and poppers, with a sprig of mistletoe hovering above their heads.
